What happens when your trial ends

What happens when your trial ends
Every new organisation gets a 30-day free trial with no card required. We'll email you 7 days and again 1 day before it ends, so there are no surprises.
If your trial ends before you've subscribed
Your account becomes read-only:
- you can still see and export everything you've entered
- you can't connect anything new, and you can't create new invoices, expenses or submissions
- everything stays exactly as you left it
How to carry on
Go to Settings → Billing and choose a plan. As soon as you subscribe (or, during the trial, switch plans for free), you have full access again; nothing needs re-entering.
Your data
Read-only means read-only: your organisation, contacts, invoices, expenses, bank connections and everything else stay in place, untouched, for as long as you keep it that way.
If an organisation stays read-only for 12 months, we delete it for good: the organisation itself, its documents, bank transactions, uploaded files, tax records, and its HMRC and bank connections. We email the owner at least 30 days before that happens, with a reminder that choosing a plan keeps everything; if you might need it for HMRC, download your reports or accountant pack first. Your own login is never deleted, only the organisation. See our Terms of Service for the full detail.
