Export reports for your accountant
Every report has Download CSV and Download PDF buttons, and Reports itself has a Download accountant pack (ZIP) for the whole tax year.
CSV or PDF
- CSV opens in a spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers). It's the one to use if your accountant wants to work the figures further, or if you're importing them somewhere else.
- PDF is laid out to read and to keep; the organisation name, the period and the accounting basis are printed at the top, with totals for each section.
Figures in both formats are shown in pounds, not pence.
The accountant pack
The ZIP pack bundles profit and loss and the balance sheet as both PDF and CSV, plus CSV copies of the trial balance, aged debtors and creditors, VAT summary (if you're VAT-registered), your journals, and a ledger export for every account that has activity in the period, all for one tax year at once, on the accounting basis you had selected. A short README inside says what basis and period the figures use.
File names and timing
Downloaded files are named after the report and the period, for example `busybeehub-profit-loss-2026-04-06-2027-04-05.csv`. Every export reflects your records at the moment you download it; if you add or change something afterwards, download it again to bring the export up to date.
